I'm Sorry But I Really Do Need My Space

It’s a pretty common scene.  The little family is traveling to see a relative out of town, with the 2-3 children in the back seat of the car. Mom and dad are up front doing the driving, discussing some relatively important family matters, when all of a sudden from the back seat of the vehicle comes a skin crawling cry, a cry to make one think a murder has just occurred.  Mom turns to the back to inquire what has just happened, and the shocking answer comes from one of the victims, “He’s touching me!”  More

"Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." (Ephesians 6:10) NKJV)

I believe that God gives to us everything we need to face the daily battles of this life. He is very much aware of our weaknesses, and He knows how much we need Him. His grace keeps us going.

This week I have been reminded to be strong in the Lord. You cannot please man no matter what you do, so allow God to give you strength for the battle and guide you with his grace.  More

Close Enough For Government Work

I'm sure there isn't a reader out there that hasn't heard the old phrase "close enough for government work." We have heard it, and probably all said it more than a few times. Obviously the phrase refers to something not having to be perfect or even your best if you are doing it for the government. How much truth there is to this statement, I haven't a clue since the government hasn't called on the ole Gator to do any work lately. I suppose opinionated gators aren't in much demand these days.
